Settings that change how Pennyweight and your AI behave.

• Nickname or hide an accountGive an account a name you recognize, or hide it from the web sidebar. Both change only how it's shown, never balances, transactions or totals.
• Turn on card, investment and recurring detailsTurn on Card & loan details, Investment details or Recurring bills & income for a linked bank, so your AI can read APRs, holdings and recurring payments.
• Rules belong to a ledgerEach rule lives in one ledger and only sorts that ledger's transactions. Here is how to put a rule in the right ledger and check what each ledger has.
• Choose which ledger your AI works inAsk your AI which ledger it's working in and switch it to another one. Each connected AI keeps its own choice, apart from the web app.
• Choosing your base and ledger currenciesPick your base currency at setup and each ledger's currency when you create it. Neither can be changed later, and stored amounts never change.
• Choose the currency for totals across ledgersPick the currency Pennyweight uses for totals that combine your ledgers, such as your net worth. Set it in Settings or ask your AI.
